Margaret “Peggy” Stansbury has an extensive background
in sales and marketing in the financial and technology
industries, and also embodies a long-standing commitment
to community service. In her role as a community
leader, Peggy founded the non-profit Baltimore Conservatory
Association and led the efforts to preserve the
architectural treasure featured in this book. Peggy
also founded the Federal Hill Garden Club and chaired
the committee that restored and revitalized the
historic Federal Hill Park in downtown Baltimore.
She served as a commissioner on the Baltimore City
Parks Board, and as district director and executive
board member of the Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland.
A native of Baltimore, she currently resides
in northern Baltimore County with her husband, two
sons, two dogs and two birds.
